Merry Christmas to all my Opera friends. May the next few days with friends and family be joyous and happy ones.
A few of the one inch wooden ornaments on my tree
Saw some paint brush like cloud formations the other day.
Sorry the view isn't better, but this is sunrise in Arizona from my back porch. It's probably around 6am. I'm glad I caught the gold where the sun is coming up. I love that color.
Merry Christmas Pam :hat::sst: view from my window sucks as well, but…. what can I do :shrugs:
Yeah, if I had the energy, I'd walk up to the top of this small mountain range about a half mile from my house, then there'd be nothing to obstruct the view. Merry Christmas to you too.
Merry Christmas
Wonderful Photos Pam. You are just blessed with all kids of talent.Merry Christmas.Clance
Andy and Clance, thanks. What's funny is that I'm on my Opera browser and I can't even see the photos or any avatars. I made the post while in IE browser, everything ok there. This probelem started earlier morning. Late last night, I removed Opera browswer, then reloaded it this morning.
Thanks and same to you Graham.

Nice tree, Pam. :up:What I remember most about winter in Arizona were those days when it was cold enough that I had to wear my winter coat, but had to put sun glasses on because the sun was so bright. A very odd feeling.Have a great Christmas.

Sorry for a late – Merry Christmas wish, Pam!Computer problems for longer than expected, got me a late start in making my rounds at the OC.
Thanks everyone. I hope you all had a great day. It's quiet now. My daughter headed back to cold Chicago around noon. The winding down part always makes me a little down too. The kids' visits are such a short time….too short. I think I'll go sip some tea on the porch and listen to the rain.
Quiet moments can be soothing. But it would be better if you have a snow…. do you have a snow in Arizona?
I do love my quiet moments Darko. The rain drops are sort of hypnotic. We have snow up in the higher elevations. I have a friend who lives in Flagstaff, about an hour and a half away. She lives amongst a bunch of homes that are summer homes to people so, in the winter, her neighbors are gone and she is alone. Every year, she has to remind the city she is there so they will snow plow the street. She got blocked in one winter.
Me too Christine. They are so wispy. I used to know the names of all the cloud formations and what caused them….learned them in about fifth grade or so. The only ones I can remember are 'cumulus nimbus' and 'thunderhead', although 'thunderhead' has a more scientific name that I can't remember. Later, I also learned what they meant as far as Native American folklore.
I hope you had a nice warm Christmas 🙂 I really like the paintbrush clouds.
hi Pam.Merry Xmas and Happy New Year, how is your Xmas holidays?hope that u enjoyed them.its snowing in the Usa now rite?:)
Des, Merry Christmas to you too.it's snowing in the Mid-West, East Coast and Pacific NorthWest. In Arizona, which is the southwest, it snows only up in the mountains which are about two hours away from me. For the last three weeks, it's mainly been a little cold and rainy where I live.
It's been a cloudy 80ºF day here on the Southeast Coast.
Hope you had a merry Christmas, Pam. Sweet tree. Lovely sunrise!
Thanks Jill. Hope you had a merry one too. My mother's Ojos are on the tree. You can see one (the square thing w/ yellow, orange and brown) near the bottom/front. She made them out of yarn and either popsicle sticks or dowel rods. I did a post on her Ojos right after this one.
